Michael Kives is co-founder and managing partner of K5 Global, an investment firm focused on partnering with founders and operators across technology, sports & entertainment, and global commerce.

Prior to K5, Michael spent 15 years as an agent at Creative Artists Agency, where he represented a wide range of talent including Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Katy Perry, and Kate Hudson, as well as global leaders Mikhail Gorbachev and Warren Buffett. Earlier in his career, Michael served as an interim spokesperson for President William J. Clinton in his post-presidential Harlem office and worked in Washington, D.C. as an aide to Chief of Staff Huma Abedin in Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s office.

Michael is an advisor to multiple startups and innovative companies and serves on the boards of Yahoo, 818 Tequila, and Khloud Foods, and MARI Group, a live events business. Through K5, he has been an early investor in companies that K5 believes are shaping emerging categories, including SpaceX, Anduril, and HistoSonics. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Distinction from Stanford University.
